WORKS IN PROGRESS
The wonderful group of artists from the Medicine Show Theatre Ensembe’s production of Camus’ Caligula is still working together!

We’re in the process of deciding on what project we’ll produce next by meeting every week and doing readings of various plays we’re interested in. Things are in too much of a development stage to give more details but at this point it looks like I’m going to be directing a piece and performing in another.
Both projects are incredibly exciting and I can’t wait to be able to give more information.
The development of my next Solo Performance Piece (Working Title: r_Evolution) continues in collaboration with Joan Kane of Ego Actus (My Way). The next phase will be a staged reading of the material we like so far, with an invited audience that will be asked to give constructive feedback.
r_Evolution is multi-disciplinary piece examining the myriad ways in which slavery continues to impact black lives and culture in the United States.

& SUNDAY MATINEES
The piece, a gorgeous, provocative classic, opens our fall season. It is a tour de force of perverse humor with splashes of vulgarity, vaudevillian tendencies and, the central figure himself: Caligula; a wild, unfettered leader of Shakespearean dimension. Sound like someone we know? In a new translation by company member Chris Brandt.
Development of my next Solo Performance Piece has started.
Working Title: r_Evolution
It's a multi-disciplinary piece looking at how slavery is alive and flourishing in these United States.
It was selected to be part of the Rising Sun Performance Company's Laboratorium on Governors Island!
I’m developing this piece in collaboration with the amazing director Joan Kane of Ego Actus (My Way)
